Yes, our on-campus YMCA program is open at Davis Magnet School for fee-based before and after school child care!
YMCA Afterschool programs have been providing the families of Orange County with affordable, quality child care since 1920. Our afterschool programs expand learning opportunities for children beyond the traditional school day, offering enrichment programs that both reinforce and complement the academic focus of the school.
The YMCA Afterschool Program is honored to be a new member of the Davis Elementary school family. Our committed staff team is dedicated to meeting the needs of the whole child in a safe, structured and fun environment. Program highlights include:
• Conveniently located on the Davis campus in a licensed, safe environment.
• Age appropriate enrichment programs, including a computer lab and Y-Clubs™, with a focus on science and math.
• Homework support offered daily.
• Program incorporates the YMCA Mission by developing character in young people through the CHARACTER COUNTS!® program.
• Open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Scholarships available to those families in need.
